Grain Growers Association Launches Second Intake of Future Grain Leaders.

Following the success of the inaugural Australian Future Grain Leaders Program launched in 2008, Grain Growers Association (GGA) have just opened Expressions of Interest for a second intake to the program. This program is attracting plenty of interest from across the country and we look forward to facilitating the kick off in Sydney on 21 - 23 October 2009. Cotton Australia (Australia's peak industry body for the Australian cotton industry) recently announced the 10 emerging leaders who will participate in the secon intake of the Cotton industry's Australian Future Cotton Leaders Program. What's RuralScope Up To?
The year is progressing well for us all at RuralScope (hope it is for you too) and we are pleased to be working with so many of you again.
Mentoring, mentoring and more mentoring! We are currently facilitating our second program for Managers in the NT DPI. And RuralScope has been appointed to provide specialist mentoring input to the soon to be launched RIRDC National Rural Women's Mentoring Program.
RuralScope has been appointed to facilitate the Voices in Agriculture initiative supporting leadership development around Climate Change. A key outcome of this program will be the development and distribution of the Voices in Agriculture Self Access Leadership Kit. Workshops will also be held in NSW and Qld.
Along with Cotton Australia and the Cotton Research and Development Corporation, RuralScope is facilitating the 2nd Australian Future Cotton Leaders program The program goes through til August 2010 with focus on the development and application of leadership skills through real life industry based projects.
Leading Groups Again this year, we are facilitating the Leading Groups Program for AgForce Queensland. Programs can be facilitated for groups face to face or for individuals via a combination of self access and one on one teleconferences. Please contact Kate at Agforce on 07 46 995 520
